Zerafa Music Inc. Profile/Bio Guy Zerafa Film And Television Composer, Owner Of Zerafa Music Inc. Although based in Toronto, he frequently works via Hong Kong, Bulgaria. Los Angeles, Vancouver and Denmark. Guy Zerafa studied classical guitar at the Conservatory Of Music, Toronto and also studied flamenco guitar and renaissance lute. He has had a long career as a performer and songwriter with numerous musical artists and recorded many top ten songs and albums. He has recorded and toured with national and international artists from a baroque folk band to progressive rock and pop bands all over the world until he turned his focus to film composition as a natural expression of his interest in various musical styles and genres. Composing music for film opened the door to what has become his passion for world music and their instruments. After a two year forway writing music for television and radio advertising with Rosnick MacKinnon Webster followed by the Einstein Brothers with commercials including those for American Express,Coke,Ford,and many others, he moved into film and television exclusively with his own production company, Zerafa Music Inc. His music has been heard on countless major networks worldwide. Guy Zerafa was nominated and won 'Best Dramatic Score, the Leo Awards' with his score for 'A Feeling Called Glory', nominated 'Best Dramatic Score, the Golden Horse Awards (the Asian Academy Awards) with his score for 'Eye In The Sky', nominated 'Best Dramatic Score, for the Gemini Awards' with his score for 'Iris Chang: The Rape Of Nanking'. His work for the film 'Exiled' was included in Hong Kong's official entry as 'Best Foreign Film' for the Academy Awards.
